The East Region of Cameroon is one of the less privileged in term of nervous system specialists. This region has a population of more than a million, and there is no neurologist. In addition, this region on the cross road of Cameroon Central African Republic and Congo need more healthcare workers to manage neurological diseases. We therefore organized this first training on the management of neurological emergencies to provide skills and tools to better manage patients with local healthcare workers.

We are planning with the local health authorities more training sessions to improve the access and quality care for patients with neurological diseases.
